MIAMI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

PEREZ & PEREZ PROVIDED THE DESIGN FOR MIAMI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TERMINAL H. THIS 23,000m2 TERMINAL HAS THE CAPACITY TO SERVE 17 GATES THAT ARE CONFIGURED TO ALLOW DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS. THE TERMINAL WAS DESIGNED IN COMPLIANCE WITH FAA STANDARDS. THIS WORK HAS RECEIVED RECOGNITION FROM THE AIA (AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTS) FOR DESIGN EXCELLENCE.

PEREZ & PEREZ WERE ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR OTHER PROJECTS WITHIN THIS TERMINAL INCLUDING:

  • THE DEMOLITION AND RECONSTRUCTION OF A NEW 3-LEVEL END PIECE HEAD-HOUSE WITH DOUBLE HEIGHT HOLD ROOMS IS INTEGRATED AS PART OF THE INTERNATIONALIZATION OF CONCOURSE H, THIS 11,200m2 MODIFICATION / EXPANSION PROGRAM WHICH WILL PROVIDE FOR FOUR NEW STERILE CORES TO BE INTEGRATED INTO A DOMESTIC CONCOURSE WITH THE CONVERSION OF A 3RD LEVEL STERILE CORRIDOR CONNECTION TO A NEW FIS FACILITY AT THE TERMINAL.

  • THE INTERNATIONALIZATION OF CONCOURSE H, A 3-LEVEL 8,500m2 MODIFICATION / EXPANSION PROGRAM WILL PROVIDE FOR FOUR NEW STERILE CORES TO BE INTEGRATED INTO A DOMESTIC CONCOURSE WITH THE CONVERSION OF A 3RD LEVEL STERILE CORRIDOR CONNECTION TO A NEW FIS FACILITY AT THE TERMINAL.

  • MIA CONCOURSE H IMPROVEMENTS, PHASE 2: THE CONCOURSE H IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, RECENTLY COMPLETED, DEMOLISHED AND REBUILT THE INBOARD PORTION OF AN EXISTING CONCOURSE BETWEEN THE TERMINAL BUILDING AND AN EXISTING HEAD-HOUSE WHILE MAINTAINING AIR SIDE OPERATIONS. THIS WAS ACCOMPLISHED IN TWO MAJOR CONSTRUCTION PHASES; WITH A TOTAL OF NINE GATES WERE RECONSTRUCTED IN 3-LEVELS TOTALING 23,000m2 , WHICH INCLUDE: CIRCULATION, PASSENGER DEPARTURE LOUNGES AND RAMP OPERATION AREAS.
