COOPER CITY HIGH SCHOOL
PHASED REPLACEMENT
PEREZ AND PEREZ ARCHITECTS PLANNERS, PROVIDED THE MASTER PLAN FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW RENOVATED SCHOOL CAMPUS FOR COOPER CITY HIGH SCHOOL. THE SCHOOL FACILITY REPLACEMENT IS BROKEN DOWN INTO 3 PHASES. DURING THE COURSE OF THE PROJECT, 75 % OF THE EXISTING BUILDINGS WILL BE DEMOLISHED, REPLACED AND/OR REMODELED. THE COMPLETE PROJECT INCLUDES A 3 STORY ADMINISTRATION/CLASSROOM/LAB BUILDING, A 2-STORY FACILITY HOUSING A GYMNASIUM AND SUPPORT FACILITIES, A 2-STORY TECHNICAL CLASSROOM BUILDING AND AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY BUILDING.
THE NEW BUILDINGS WILL HOUSE A VARIETY OF FUNCTIONS SUCH AS SCIENCE, TV PRODUCTION AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT LABS, A MUSIC SUITE, GENERAL CLASSROOMS, ESE SUITES, PLANNING AREAS, STORAGE, RESOURCE ROOMS AND RESTROOMS. SITE IMPROVEMENTS INCLUDE PE FACILITIES, SOFTBALL FIELDS, BASKETBALL AND BUS LOOP AND PARKING.
